Plot sizes, floor counts and projections are typical examples. Setbacks, height limits and projections are set by local building bye-laws, so your architect must check what is allowed before you build.

Structure and safety

Cantilevered balconies, heavy cladding, large glass and anything fixed at height need design and supervision by a qualified engineer. Our notes are general and do not replace professional advice on site.
